Industry Best Reliability

Not all SMS are the same! Smartsoft uses industry best direct routes to improve delivery reliability, with messages being sent directly to your clients mobile phone carrier - Telstra, Optus and Vodafone. For our overseas users, Smartsoft uses local SMS carriers in New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Canada.

SMS Reply Path

Replies from patients are available directly on the Appointment Book for your convenience. All correspondence is tracked and recorded within each patient file and can be reviewed at any time.

Delivery Receipts

As part of our end-to-end SMS service, we provide you the date and time the SMS was received by the patient's mobile device directly in Front Desk®.

Calendar Links

Include 'Add to Calendar' links in your SMS reminders allowing patients to add appointments directly into their calendar with extended appointment information, a reminder 1 hour before the appointment and navigation information to your practice.

Dedicated SMS Number

Dedicated SMS numbers are available for a small monthly charge. This allows your SMS to be sent with a fixed number, as well as allowing patients to send messages to this number at any time, even without receiving a previous message.

Sender ID Override

Front Desk® allows users to send messages using a custom Sender ID. This can be either a mobile number for a mobile service you own, with any replies returning to that service or an alphanumeric text descriptor up to 11 characters in length - such as 'MYPRACTICE'

Appointment Status Update

When wanting patients to confirm their appointment, you can have them reply with a standard response by a request like 'reply with YES to confirm your appointment'. This will automatically update the patient's Appointment Status in the Front Desk appointment book according to their response.
